Individual Player – Core Foot Skills training activities

1) Use the insides of both feet to touch the ball from side to side across your body

2) Use the soles of both feet to role the ball across your body  back and forth

3) Step on the ball with the sole of one foot and tap the ball, then alternate between both feet

4) Touch the ball with the insides of both feet across your body and then tap the ball on top with the soles of both feet for a total of 4 quick touches

5) Standing stationary with ball take 1 touch with the small toe of your right foot, then quickly take a touch with the small toe of your left foot. The ball should only move slightly between your fast touches

6) Take a touch with the inside of your right foot (big toe) , quickly followed by a touch with the outside (small toe) of your same foot. Then repeat on your left side

7) Take a diagonal touch with the outside (small toe) of your right foot, quickly followed by a cut across your body using the inside (big toe) of your same foot. Then repeat on your left side.

8) With a wide stance, take a touch with the sole of your right foot and roll the ball at pace against the inside of your opposite foot. Then repeat rolling the ball using your left sole at pace against the inside of your right foot

9) Take two touches with the sole across your body using your right foot (outside to inside) and the repeat two touches using the sole of the left foot (outside to inside)

10) Take a touch with the inside of your right foot (big toe) , quickly followed by a touch with the outside (small toe) of your right foot and then stop the ball quickly with the sole of your same foot. Then repeat on the left side

11) Roll the ball with the sole of your right foot and then quickly push the ball out and away from your body using the outside of your same foot. Then repeat on the left side

12) Quickly touch the ball from side to side using the inside of both feet. Follow two touches on the insides with a touch using the outside of either foot
