We are delighted to be teaming up with Sports Specific Training (SST) to offer our players “best practice” technical and physical  training to prepare them for the 2017 outdoor season.

Soccer is a team sport that requires the performance of technical skills during high intensity, intermittent movements. Players can perform between 1,000 – 1,400 intensity changes per game.

1v1 Soccer FC and SST Training have combined to provide a technical skills and physical performance program for youth players – similar to the training used by  EPL players like Jordan Henderson.

Youth soccer in Canada is becoming much more competitive and there are now a greater number of young players, chasing a limited amount of higher level opportunities.

To achieve success, you will have to “find an edge” over the other players that you are competing against so that you can maximize your potential within the 4 main areas of soccer development – Technique, Game Intelligence, Physical capabilities and Mental strength.

During the last few years we have successfully prepared players for trials in Spain (Sevilla FC) and at academy  positions at MLS academies (Toronto FC). We have also trained players who have went on to receive invitations from a professional club in England (Wolves FC) to spend 3 weeks training and playing in academy games.

Players who complete this program will be more skillful, will be making quickly decisions on the field and will have the mental and physical attributes to compete with the very best to successfully compete at a higher level of play.
